What is Toys for Tots?
Toys for Tots is a national program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them to children in need. The program was founded in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks and his wife Diane. Their goal was to bring the joy of Christmas to children whose parents could not afford to buy them gifts.
How can I participate?
If you’d like to donate a toy, simply drop it off at our store! We’ll make sure it gets delivered to a child who will love it. All toys must be new and unwrapped. Please check the Toys for Tots website for a list of suggested age-appropriate toy ideas.
When is the deadline?
The deadline for donations is December 15th. However, we encourage you to donate sooner rather than later so that we can ensure that all toys are distributed in time for Christmas Day.
